Movie review: Spider-Man 2 is the most honest movie to hit theatres this year
Bookended by fierce but unresolved battles in the streets of New York, the latest Spider-Man feels like nothing so much as a two-hour-and-20-minute trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, coming not so soon to a theatre near you. And since that’s essentially what it is, chalk this one up as one of the most honest movies to hit theatres this year.
